Nudity in paintings is not rare
Recently, Paris museum opened its doors to nudists. You are supposed to shed clothes and all your inhibitions before you enter Palais de Tokyo, in Paris.
The guests checked their clothing in the cloakroom. Then the nudists admired the sculptures and the paintings.
The visit started to took place before the official opening of the museum, so that there would be no surprise encounters.
It was the first time in Paris that a museum invited and welcomed nudists.
The nude guests told the local newspaper Le Parisien that they enjoyed the experience.
“The atmosphere was very nice,” said one.
Adding that there was initially some embarrassment, but that being nude allows you to experience the artwork differently.
We wonder who was looking like a piece of art in this museum.
France and Paris has an active Nudists Association, with estimated 2.6 million naturists. Parisian naturists can bathe in the buff in the Roger Le Gall swimming pool and enjoy nude exercise classes and bowling games.
